CYMBOLICK PENALTIES RAISE RECORD AMOUNT.

The Cymbolick Penalties is a group of musicians who are all Freemasons who play and record music to raise money for charitable causes. They were formed in 2010 by one of our members, Worshipful Brother Jake Jackson, ( Front ) who assembled them for a one time show as the pit band for one of the Provincial Pantomimes. As a result of that experience, and enjoying each other’s company so much, they organised themselves into a working band and over the next 15 years raised tens of thousands of pounds for good causes and Masonic charities. Their first CD was released in 2012 and raised over £2,000.00 for the 2014 festival. Their second CD was released in 2024 and so far has amassed a massive £18,200 for the 2525 Festival. The cheque was presented to the Provincial Grand Master at the Provincial Officer’s Mess on Thursday 16th October 2025. The band has now retired from working engagements and now meets as a social group and in the studio when time permits.
