Not everyone can become a Freemason, as there are certain requirements and qualifications that must be met. Freemasonry is generally open to people from all walks of life, regardless of race, religion or social standing. As long as they meet the following criteria. 

Some Basic Requirements:

Belief in a Supreme Being – Candidates must believe in a higher power, Freemasonry does not specify any particular religion. Our members come from various backgrounds.

Moral Character – Applicants musts be of good moral standing and seen as an honest and ethical        member of society.

Age requirements – A person must be at least 18 years old.

Free Will – Joining must be a voluntary decision and therefor cannot be coerced or pressured into joining.

Recommendations – All lodges have new members who are recommended to them either by the members themselves or with todays media activity recommended by Provincial offices or  Grand Lodge in London.
